From there, you’ll head to Tuscany, where the rolling hills of Chianti invite you to taste local wines and regional cuisine. The route then leads to the Ligurian coast, home to the colorful villages of the Cinque Terre and breathtaking sea views. Begin your journey at this charming, small-scale agriturismo, nestled among fields and just a short walk from the stunning Lake Como. Still an active working farm, this agriturismo offers an authentic Italian experience. Relax in the garden under the fruit trees, unwind by the pool, or enjoy the small wellness area with a Turkish bath and sauna. The on-site restaurant serves delicious local dishes made with organic products straight from the farm. Nearby, you’ll find several small pebble beaches, and a scenic lakeside path leads you to a nearby village with shops, cafés, and a lively promenade.

The agriturismo offers 10 comfortable rooms, located on the first or second floor of the renovated country house. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a minibar. From the rooms, you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and some rooms feature a balcony.


What to see and do

The agriturismo is located in a region that is perfect for hikers and cycling enthusiasts. A boat tour on Lake Como is also highly recommended to discover the charming villages of Colico, Varenna, and Bellagio. Varenna is known for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and stunning views of the lake. Bellagio, often called "the pearl of Lake Como," is famous for its beautiful gardens, narrow steep alleys, and panoramic vistas. Thanks to the ferries, these villages are easily accessible, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings in a relaxed way.

Agriturismo 31 winery in the Chianti region

This authentic agriturismo is the second stop on your journey and offers a true Tuscan experience. Located on a hill in the Chianti region, between San Gimignano and Florence, grapes and olives have been grown here for three generations. The location offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards. There is a restaurant that serves local dishes, as well as breakfast in the mornings. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by the reception ladies, who are happy to provide you with information and ensure your stay is unforgettable.

In the mornings, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with local specialties, which is served on the restaurant terrace during the summer. Additionally, there is a communal lounge with a fireplace, perfect for a cozy evening.

What to see and do

This agriturismo, set in a peaceful, rural location, is centrally located for exploring the famous Tuscan cities. Florence, renowned for its art and architecture, is just 30 km away, while Pisa and Siena are also easily accessible. San Gimignano, famous for its medieval towers and charming streets, is a must-see. On the way to these attractions, you will drive through stunning landscapes and enjoy views of the Tuscan hills, dotted with picturesque villages, farms, and cypress trees.

The agriturismo offers a total of 5 rooms and 5 suites, all stylishly decorated. Some junior suites have their own small terrace, while guests in the other rooms can enjoy the shared covered terrace. Each room offers beautiful views of the valley and is equipped with modern amenities, including a TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, minibar, hairdryer, bathrobe, and slippers.

De agriturismo ligt op slechts vijf minuten rijden van de Cinque Terre, waar je de kleurrijke kustdorpjes kunt verkennen die met elkaar verbonden zijn via wandelpaden en een spoorlijn. De beroemde Via dell'Amore, tussen Riomaggiore en Manarola, biedt een spectaculair uitzicht op zee en de ruige kustlijn. Ook een uitstapje naar Portofino is de moeite waard – een sfeervol havenstadje dat geliefd is bij de internationale jetset. The agriturismo offers 7 rooms and 2 suites, all romantically decorated and equipped with modern amenities such as satellite TV, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. There is a spacious pool in the garden, complete with a jacuzzi, sun loungers, and umbrellas. On sunny days, the breakfast buffet is served on the terrace, where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

What to see and do

Located amidst its own vineyards, this agriturismo offers the opportunity to taste nine different wines, including the famous Barbera and Moscato. The host speaks good English and is happy to share information about the area. Although the agriturismo itself doesn't have a restaurant, there are four excellent restaurants in the nearby village (3 km away), where you can enjoy traditional Piedmontese dishes. Also, be sure to visit the picturesque villages of Barolo, famous for its wine, and La Morra, known for its panoramic views of the vineyards and charming historic center. This agriturismo is the perfect place to truly experience Piedmont and the ideal stop to end this unforgettable journey.
