Dog owners often like to travel with their pet. But pets are not always welcomed in holiday accommodation. Are you looking for an agriturismo in Tuscany that welcomes your dog too? Browse our selection of dog-friendly agriturismos. There are quite a lot, as dogs are welcome in two out of three of our farms. Plenty of choice! Every one of them has been visited by me – Margot – and selected for quality, atmosphere and charm. Bring your dog? Of course!
A holiday for you and your pet
An agriturismo is a working farm that also rents apartments or rooms. You will be staying in the Italian countryside, away from the hustle and bustle. Where there’s lots of space for your dog to run around and have a great time. Dog-friendly agriturismos are used to receiving guests with dogs, and you can be sure that everything is taken good care of. There are several nice routes for walks with your dog. We even have properties where dog owners get preferential treatment! Agriturismo 140 by Lake Garda, for instance. The owner loves dogs! There is a stretch of woodland behind the farm where dogs can run around off the leash.

Enquire after the rules and points of attention
Your pet must be kept on a leash while on the premises. And they usually charge a small fee for the dog, per day or per stay. There may be other conditions and regulations which you will need to bear in mind. Ask the owner about that when you check in, to avoid misunderstandings. Spring and autumn are the best seasons to bring your dog, as the temperatures are very agreeable then. Your dog is also welcome at many agriturismos in Sicily, Marche and the lakes.
