Lovely agriturismo with restaurant between olive groves in the Marche

I visited this agriturismo during the olive harvest and so I was lucky to see it from up close. The owner proudly showed me around in the olive mill and offered me his freshly pressed olive oil to taste. In total there are 26 hectares of olive groves and they have their own olive mill, where from October till December the olives are pressed. In addition to various types of olive oil they grow corn and lavender and they have a large vegetable garden. The fruit and vegetables are used in the restaurant and guests can also pick the fruit and vegetables themselves. The lavender they use to make their own line of cosmetics.

The agriturismo is situated among the olive groves and lavender fields just a few kilometres from the beach and the city of Ancona. In 20 minutes you can reach the beautiful sandy beaches of the Conero National Park. The agriturismo is very centrally located to explore the beautiful region of Marche.

Comfortable rooms

The agriturismo has 7 rooms and 3 suite modern furnished with private bathroom, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a minibar. Outside, each room has a private covered terrace with relaxed beanbags. The suite have table and chairs in the garden. The rooms at the front of the building have nice views from their terrace. On request rooms can be connected to each other, to make them suitable for a party of 4.

Pool and restaurant

The swimming pool is located next to accommodation and has a sun terrace with views over the agriturismo and surrounding hills. The property has a shop, where they sell their own products, and there’s a restaurant. The restaurant, where breakfast is also served, is open for lunch and dinner almost every day. The pasta, bread and focaccia are homemade and they cook with fruit and vegetables from the garden. On the day I visited the agriturismo (a national holiday) the restaurant was packed with locals who had come for lunch. Always a good sign! On Wednesday evening, you can enjoy various kinds of pizza with artisan beers. Cooking courses are organized on request.
