Charming hideaway between the Tuscan hills and the sea

Tucked away in the tranquil Tuscan countryside, yet only a short drive from the coast, I discovered this intimate retreat where nature, design and comfort come together in perfect harmony. The owners – a brother and sister from northern Italy – were searching for a rural escape where they could unwind during their holidays, and now they are delighted to share it with their guests.
Their dream home, once a traditional farmhouse, has been lovingly transformed into an elegant Tuscan country house that immediately conveys warmth and hospitality. Surrounded by wheat fields and overlooking vineyards on rolling hills, it offers a quintessential rural setting. The final 1.5 kilometres to the agriturismo are along an unpaved country lane, flanked by olive trees.

Beautiful sandy beaches within easy reach

The setting is peaceful and rural, yet just a short drive brings you to the sandy beaches of the Etruscan coast. Torre Mozza, with its wide, golden sands, is only 15 minutes away, while the unspoilt bay of Sterpaia, a favourite with nature lovers, is just 20 minutes from the property. Those seeking more buzz will find lively beach towns such as Follonica and San Vincenzo within half an hour, offering cafés, shops and nightlife. The island of Elba also makes a wonderful day trip and can be reached by ferry from Piombino.

Pool with a private gazebo for every room

The atmosphere here is stylish yet relaxed. In the spacious garden you’ll find a panoramic swimming pool surrounded by comfortable loungers. Each room comes with its own private gazebo by the pool, complete with two sunbeds set on sand – perfect for unwinding in peace while enjoying a touch of beachside charm.

Veranda for breakfast or an aperitivo

The heart of the agriturismo is the large veranda, which also serves as the reception. From here you can take in lovely views of the pool and garden. In summer it offers welcome shade, while in spring and autumn it’s pleasantly sheltered. This is where breakfast is served each morning, prepared with produce from the owners’ kitchen or from small local suppliers. It’s also the perfect spot for an aperitivo or a quiet moment in one of the inviting seating areas. Open day and night, the veranda is an ideal place to meet other guests.

Comfortable rooms with private terrace

All rooms are on the ground floor and have been furnished with great care and attention to detail, each with its own style and design touches. In addition to the private gazebo by the pool, each has a small terrace at the entrance with two comfortable chairs. The modern open-plan bathrooms are seamlessly integrated into the rooms and feature a separate walk-in rain shower. All rooms have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryer, kettle with organic tea, and an espresso machine with pods. A minibar is available on request. There are ten rooms in total, including one in a detached cottage.
