B&B in strategic location for exploring Lake Como

I know this part of Lake Como well and have considered it for years an ideal place to get away for a few days. This time I discovered a different side of the region: a practical and well-connected location just a few minutes from the centre of Como.
The property looks out over the countryside, which immediately creates a sense of peace. At the same time, it is set within a lively residential area with shops and everyday amenities close at hand. A dynamic and easily accessible setting, ideal for those who value daily convenience and good connections. It is precisely this combination that makes it appealing: green and peaceful, yet not remote. A pleasant place for those who appreciate comfort and convenience.
It is an excellent starting point for visiting the lake and its best-known towns. Como is around a 20-minute drive away, Lecco 30 minutes, Bellagio 45 minutes and Varenna approximately 50 minutes. The area is less touristy than the towns directly on the lake, yet remains practical for day-to-day outings.
Milan is also easily accessible for a day trip. Direct trains from Como and Lecco take you to the city centre in around one hour.

Swimming pool and garden

The property is surrounded by a spacious and well-kept garden with trees and shaded areas where you can sit and relax outdoors.
The swimming pool, with sun loungers and parasols, is ideal after a day out or simply for enjoying a few peaceful hours without leaving the property.

Rooms and breakfast

The six rooms each have a private bathroom and are furnished in a simple and harmonious style, in keeping with the character of the country house. The interiors are bright and welcoming.
There are double rooms as well as family rooms with separate or connecting spaces, suitable for those travelling with children.
Breakfast is varied and carefully prepared, with homemade cakes, fresh bread, jams, seasonal fruit and savoury options. During the summer months it is served outdoors, overlooking the garden.

E-bike, walking and cooking classes

For those who enjoy being active, the main walking trails and e-bike routes are close by. The owners of the B&B are happy to assist with organising walks and excursions. Slower-paced activities are also available, such as a yoga session in the park or a cooking class with the chef in the B&B’s kitchen. This concludes under the patio, where you share the dishes prepared together along with a glass of local wine. Activities can be booked on site and are subject to a charge.
