Authentic stay in a small village near Lucca

In the green heart of Tuscany, among olive trees and rolling hills, you’ll find this small-scale B&B in a quiet village close to Lucca. The owners spent years searching for the perfect spot and found it here—in this elegant manor house opposite a church in a picturesque little village. With great care, they renovated the house and garden, transforming it into a cozy Bed & Breakfast.

I personally stayed here and experienced the kindness and hospitality of the friendly owners. They welcome their guests with genuine attention and create a relaxed, personal atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they’re happy to offer tips for local excursions, the best restaurants (which they can also reserve for you), hiking and cycling routes—they gladly share all the information you need. 

The perfect base to explore Tuscany

A visit to the beautiful city of Lucca is of course a must. From the B&B, you can reach the heart of this famous walled city within 15 minutes. Want to see the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa too? It’s just a 30-minute drive away. Sun and beach lovers can enjoy the lovely sandy beaches of Vecchiano, also only half an hour away.

Many guests also use this B&B as an ideal base for a day trip to the Cinque Terre. Since it’s often difficult to find accommodation there on short notice, it’s convenient that you can reach this spectacular coastal area in Liguria in about 90 minutes by car. 

The rooms

The B&B has six comfortable rooms, each with its own character and decor. The rooms are cozy and carefully furnished to match the style of the villa. Warm colors and simple interiors create a relaxed atmosphere. All rooms have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV and a hairdryer. 

Pool, breakfast and pizzeria nearby

In the garden, surrounded by a wall, there is a lovely small pool with sun loungers—a peaceful spot to relax in privacy and enjoy the Tuscan sun together. Breakfast is prepared with care, and when the weather is nice, you can enjoy it outside overlooking the beautiful garden. About 800 meters away, there is a friendly pizzeria.
